How to Turn a Men on with Scents

I was thumbing through the book, ‘Aromatherapy – A complete Guide to the healing Art.’ by Kathi Keville and Mindy Green when I came across a chart that was created by Alan R. Hirsh, MD.

The chart was divided into two sections. One section labeled ‘Scents that Turn on Women’ and the second section labeled ‘ Scents that Turn on Men’.

The information that it listed was beyond amazing – check it out.

Scents That Turn on Women

13 % licorice or cucumber
11 % lavender or pumpkin pie spice
4 % baby powder and chocolate
1% women’s perfume
Ok, nothing to exciting (no, pun intended) about that list so lets find out the charts say about men.

Scents That Turn on Men

40% lavender and pumpkin pie spice
31.5 % licorice and doughnut
20 % pumpkin pie spice and doughnut
19.5 % orange
18 % lavender and doughnut
13 % licorice and cola
13% licorice
12.5 % doughnut and cola
9% buttered popcorn
2% cranberry

After seeing this report I immediately thought, ‘Wow, I do love me some doughnuts’ – then the thought came to me.. ‘OH GOD, those poor women who work at Dunkin’ Donuts’.

Growing up I have always heard that women wear make-up and perfume to attract a partner. If that is true – will this chart change the way women attract men? Will women start rubbing doughnuts on themselves and washing their hair with buttered popcorn?

I guess the real question is why do men love junk food so much that it turns them on?
